At long last, Argyll FM has joined the thousands of radio stations around the world that broadcast not only over FM, AM or DAB to listeners in their local area, but over the Internet to every device everywhere that has a data connection.

A special shout-out goes to Andy Steven of 60 NORTH RADIO and Shetland Webcams who provided myself and Colin with the assistance, expertise and support to get us broadcasting online, a new service that will complement our existing FM broadcast across the south-west of Scotland.

You can now benefit from our three digital audio streams either via our website, through all the most popular Internet radio directory sites or apps on your smartphone, or using your smart speaker.

This launch forms part of our ongoing modernisation project, where we are rebranding and restructuring your local, independent radio station to prepare it for the future.

You’ll have also noticed an upgrade to the website alongside the new web broadcasts, and we are also working away at plans to improve and expand our FM broadcast reach, but that’s not everything we have in store!

Keep your eyes peeled for more changes and improvements as we continue to secure the future of Argyll FM.

Of course, all this work requires money, so please consider supporting us if you want to keep us independent and on air. Please also get in touch if you have any suggestions for us!

All the best to our listeners at home and beyond!
